My daughter studied 3 unit Latin for the NSW HSC and Harriet was her tutor for 2 years. Harriet is a very experienced and well regarded dedicated teacher and a highly professional tutor. She is a very effective tutor using the online environment. Her love of languages is one of the things that makes her a great teacher. She guided my daughter through the curriculum and gave her a deeper understanding of the Latin texts, as well as helped with her 'unseen' translations. My daughter's performance in Latin exams improved and she was very well prepared and confident for all her assessments, the Year 12 trials and of course the HSC. Harriet's support meant that my daughter was able to complete year 12 without getting too stressed. Harriet is engaging towards the student, reliable, well prepared for tutoring sessions, and provides summary notes and weekly progress tasks. My daughter always looked forward to and enjoyed Harriet's lessons.

Thank you Harriet for teaching my daughter! She has really gained a lot, moving from the low 70s in exams and assignments into the 90s just this year. Harriet's teaching style is exemplary, focusing on weak spots and prodding students into the right direction with plenty of practice. Her weekly notes are also a good insight into the lesson and give my daughter the chance to revise through the week. My child has really found Harriet's teaching style motivating to her school work, completing homework diligently and developing a genuine interest in the language.

My daughter is currently in year 12 and was struggling with some aspects of the French Continuers course and so I engaged Harriet to tutor her. From the very beginning it was clear that Harriet is extremely professional. Harriet is absolutely wonderful. She is patient and my daughter is really engaged with Harriet. After every session Harriet always lets me know what they have worked on for that day and also how my daughter's attitude was for the session. My daughter loves learning French and can't wait for each week. They way she is being taught she is learning really quickly while also having fun. I can't recommend Harriet enough.
